Anacahuite or Mexican Olive

Native to the brushlands and forest remnants of the southernmost tip of Texas, The Anacahuite Olive makes a beautiful landscape tree that can be planted as far north as San Antonio.

It is a smaller tree that can grow up to 20 feet tall with a trunk of 12 inch diameter. It’s white, trumpet-shaped flowers have a yellow spot in the center and bloom throughout the spring and summer months.
