Crape Myrtle

The Crape Myrtle is one of the most common small landscape trees planted in Texas! That’s because it can tolerate a wide range of site conditions, including drought and slightly alkaline soils.

Throughout the summer months, there are white, pink, red, or purple flowers that are made up of petals that resemble crepe-paper.
