Jerusalem Thorn, Retama or Palo Verde

The Jerusalem Thorn is an airy, thorny, small tree that can grow up to 30 feet tall throughout south and southwest Texas. It has a see-through crown with bright yellow-orange flowers that brown in the warm spring weather. The flowers are used by bees for honey production.
