Suggested Trees for Galveston

These trees are species that are native or well-adapted to the unique growing conditions on Galveston Island. They have been chosen and are recommended by a collaboration between the Conservancy, City of Galveston Tree Committee, Texas Forest Service and Texas AgriLife Extension.
